ABSTRACTS

We invite abstract submissions for the 2026 Global Cardio-Oncology Summit (GC-OS) on the prevention, management, and treatment of cardiac complications related to oncology therapy.

- Accepted Presenter Information Due: July 1, 2026

Abstract Submission Instructions
Anticipated timeline for both the General Abstract Submission and the Young Investigators Award Competition is as follows:
- All successful abstracts must be presented in person at the event October 5-7, 2026, Williamsburg, Virginia, U.S.A.
- Abstracts must be in English.
- There is no limit to the number of abstracts submitted.
- There is no limit to the number of authors listed on an abstract.
- The size limit for the abstract (including title, body, and tables) is 2000 characters. The character count does NOT include spaces, author names, or institutions.
- Original research abstracts should include the following sections: background, methods, results, conclusion.
- Case reports/Clinical decision-making abstracts should include the following sections: background, case, discussion.
- Abstracts must be submitted in Word format.
- The conference does not provide support for abstract presenters, regardless of presentation outcome. Abstract presenters
must register to attend the conference.Members of the GC-OS planning committee will review and select the abstracts for inclusion in the summit. - Disclosures:
All authors of selected abstracts will be required to complete a disclosure of financial relationships form. This form will be provided to you via email; you will be required to complete it by the stated deadline. Failure to do so jeopardizes your participation and that of your fellow authors. A review of your disclosed financial relationships may determine that a peer review of your materials for potential conflict of interest is required. You will be contacted directly if this is applicable to you and will be required to submit information by the requested deadline.
Young Investigator Award Information
The 2026 Global Cardio-Oncology Summit Young Investigator Award recognizes outstanding achievements by a young investigator at the early stage of their career in the field of cardio-oncology. Three candidates will be selected to give an oral presentation during the Young Investigator Competition on October 7, 2026.

Eligibility
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a graduate program (i.e., MSc, PhD, MD) or junior faculty (within first 5 years), within a university, hospital or affiliated research institute at the time of application.

Nomination material:
- One nomination letter (signed by a senior investigator)
- One letter of recommendation
- Current CV plus a complete list of all publications
Candidates must be prepared to attend the meeting and deliver a 10-minute presentation summarizing their work.
The winner will be announced live at the end of the summit on October 7, 2026 and all finalists must be present to be eligible for the awards.
Finalists will be determined by the GC-OS conference planning committee.
